Nedra has represented clients in matters relating to divorce, separate maintenance, child custody and support, family violence protective orders, adoption, prenuptial agreements, business disputes and litigation, personal injury, property damage, and wills.  Ms. Howard has represented individual and corporate clients in pre-litigation, dispute resolution, negotiations, pre-trial litigation, and trial.  Nedra provides counseling and advice to clients in an effort to identify issues, propose solutions, and provide efficient and economical representation.

Nedra worked at a civil litigation firm in Dalton, Georgia; a general practice firm in Fayetteville, Georgia; and a family law firm in Jonesboro, Georgia before becoming a founding partner with BETTIS & HOWARD, P.C.

Nedra is a member of the Family Law Section and the General Practice Section of the State Bar of Georgia.  She is also a member of the Fayette County Bar Association.  She has also been a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association.  Ms. Howard has served her community with participation as a mock trial judge, Service Juris associated with Hands on Atlanta, Leadership Dalton-Whitfield, and the American Red Cross.

Nedra is admitted to practice in the Georgia state and federal courts.

Pamela M. Bettis, Partner

Prior to beginning her career in law she served as a law enforcement officer for over 16 years, first in Henry County. As an Attorney she began her legal career as a Prosecutor with the Henry County Solicitor's Office. Since that time, Pamela has represented clients in matters relating to criminal law and family law with a family law firm in Jonesboro, Georgia. In addition she served the citizens of McDonough as the City of McDonough Solicitor. Her experiences as a police officer and prosecutor provides a unique perspective to her legal representation.

Pamela has and continues to represent clients in the areas of divorce, child custody and support modification, mediation, Department of Family and Children Services hearings, delinquency and adult criminal defense. By the time she became a founding partner with Bettis and Howard P.C., she had conducted well over 100 jury trials, 500 bench trials and argued hundreds of motions before Judges across Georgia.

Pamela is admitted to practice in all Georgia courts including the Court of appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia.
